Sarah Kozloff has asked the SCS Jobs Committee the post the following
information:
Vassar College will be accepting applications for a Post-Doctoriate position
to start Next Fall. Applicants should have completed their PHD by Sept.
1994. They should be committed to undergraduate liberal arts education.
Besides a strength in film history, theory and criticism, they should have
research interests in television, cultural studies, third world cinema, and/or
documentary. The job requires teaching three courses. Sallary is competitive.
Free faculty housing is provided. Application deadline is April 1. Send
applications to Sarah Kozloff, Director, Luce Program of Cinema, Literacy
and Culture, Box 169, Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Sarah will
be attending SCS this week. Interested parties might drop dossiers and phone
numbers off at her room at the Sheritan with some possability of arranging
for interviews during the conference.
