I know Montreal may seem far for some of you but... if you are a film
researcher, it may be worth to consider.
The Cinematheque quebecoise operates a very important library on film (and a
little bit television). We have more than 35,000 books, 5,000 scripts, 3,000
magazine titles (we currently subscribe to 450), and a lot of information on
 microfilm.
We also have clipping files (more than 125,000). And that is just a part of the
 services we offer.
One true advantage of the library is that we cover books and periodicals in
French and English (and a little bit in other languages).
You want to know more about the Centre de documentation of the Cinematheque
 quebecoise ?
