Interesting too that Tonya's way of "working the press," as Potter Palmer
calls it, was a straightforward refusal to deal with the press after a
certain point. I thought it was great when Connie Chung kept asking Tonya
if she thought she would skate worse because of all the uproar -- and
reiterating this -- and reiterating this -- until Tonya finally ripped off
the mike and walked away. CBS news tried really hard to turn this into
something "revealing" about Tonya's character, but in the end (I thought,
anyway) it made Connie look both rude and inept.
