One that comes to mind that hasn't been posted is Marisa Silver's PERMANENT
RECORD that deals with the most popular kid in high school committing
suicide.  This happens early on and the rest of the film focuses on his
friends dealing with why this happened.  It's available on video and was
released within the last 5 or 6 years.
