Gianna,

According to the Educational Film Locator, "Italian American" should be
available for film rental from several sources, including: UCLA Instructional
Media Library (213-825-0755) and Univ. of South Florida Film & Video Library
(813-974-2874); these are just the first two of a half dozen. You might try
them first.

In case you're interested, this documentary has also been released by the
Voyager Co. for purchase on a videodisc titled "Three by Scorsese" (including
"The Big Shave" and "American Boy" as well), for $50.00.

Hope this helps.
