PHILADELPHIA STORIES: The "Set in Philadelphia" Screenwriting Competition,
is accepting submissions nationally: works must be feature length screen-
plays set primarily in the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. All genres
accepted: scripts will be judged on quality and the extent to which they tell
a genuine "Philadelphia Story".
 
    AWARDS: $3,000 prize money, Festival passes, story notes, meeting with an
industry professional
POSTMARK DEADLINE: January 21, 1994
ENTRY FEE: $20
 
The competition is sponsored by the Philadelphia Festival of World
Cinema and presented by International House of Philadelphia; co-
sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Film Office.
 
Winner(s) announced May 1994, during the 3rd Annual Philadelphia Festival of
World Cinema.
