Ladies I request your help on the following:

There seems to be a standard in the action/murder films [and
and other generes of film] where the man has stuck his neck out so to
speak for the female [or done something for her, ex: saves her life or
hides something to protect her] and she decides it is better if they
now split up - the man seems to say something like "you owe me" or
"I can't let you go". After this type of scene the woman takes the man
to bed for sex then before he awakes leaves.
Being a woman can you explain this logic of this type of action
[besides explotation- which I think it is]. Even though this type of
action is explotive it also seems like a from of victimazaition. PLEASE
be creative with your exploritorive(sp) response
                                                        Thanks,
                                                        John W. Cobb
