Dear Screen-ers,
I'm working on a paper on US cultural hegemony in Central America. My
aim (as one part of the study) is to find signs of the
North-Americanization of the isthmus as a counterprocess to the
"anti-yankismo". Does anyone know any good statistical sources on the US
film industry's share of the Central American and Mexican market? I
would imagine that the figure concerning Mexico would be somewhat lower
than that of the C-America. Any comments?
