It's not a film, but I remember being particularly astonished by a
recording made of Bertolt Brecht's appearance before the HUAC, narrated by
Eric Bentley.  It's a Folkways Recording (#FD5531) and includes a booklet
with a complete transcript of the session.
But then again, if your students don't know anything about the McCarthy era,
then will they know who Brecht is?  hmmm...
