    Having reviewed my original posting, I don't believe I said there was
anything I could not deal with in a western.  In fact, I like westerns
fine.  I do, however, believe that genre films usually follow a restrictive
formula (that does not prevent their being enjoyable) and that occasional
films of this type transcend the usual restrictions of the genre.
