I just finished clearing my e-mail account of over 100 error messages
I had received because of misdirected SCREEN-L mail. These 100 all
arrived in the past 24 hours.

So, I will be more rigorously pruning SCREEN-L in the days to come--
deleting e-mail addresses that have caused problems before I leave town
for the break.

Sometimes these problems are only temporary, but it's hard for me to
judge which will clear up on their own.

Anyway, if you find that you are not receiving SCREEN-L mail, it could be
because your account caused a temporary problem and I sliced you from the
list. If so, please feel free to re-subscribe or drop me a note about
what happened.

I worry about eliminating someone with a functioning address, but these
error messages are driving me a bit buggy.

Thanks for understanding.

What the great philosophers have said vis-a-vis love (as
          interpreted by Matt Groening):
Love is a perky elf dancing a merry little jig and
then suddenly he turns on you with a miniature
              machine gun.
