The problem of having to rescore a film for home video happened also with
John Sayles' "Baby It's You." A holdout was Peter Bogdanovich's "Last
Picture Show"... which I believe is why it took so long to make it to home
video (just a copy of years ago). They weren't going to settle for any
substitute music; that would've been to the great detriment of the film's
