                  Broadcast Journalism Assistant Professor
                           The Univeristy of Alabama
 
        The Telecommunication and Film Department, University of Alabama,
        seeks an assistant professor to teach courses in and head broad-
        cast journalism sequence, advise student-run FM radio station,
        advise RTNDA student chapter, and maintain liaison with the
        University's public radio and television operations.  Person will
        also maintain a continous program of professional-level broadcast
        journalism activity sufficient for later consideration for tenure
        in the College's creative/professional tenure track.  Full time
        broadcast news/public affairs experience required; experience in
        public/non-commercial radio required.  PhD and teaching experi-
        ence as well as experience in advising student-run campus radio
        station required.
