Footnote to immediately previous note:  Turner owns the MGM library by
virtue of purchase of copyrights that are still valid under the revised
law.  They will continue to be valid until their expiration date.  What
Turner has done is make marketable product that did not have much market
value.  Along the way, he made available to anyone interested copies of
films that were not available for many years.
 
If you don't like colorization your choices are simple: turn-down the
color knob on your tv or don't watch at all.
