I am sure that a number of people on Screen-L work with film on a
practical basis, and possibly with animation. A question about direct
animation: Norman McLaren was supposed to have done direct animation
on clear leader or on film of optical soundtracks--- for Neighbors.
Has anyone ever done this? I have limited film facilites here (nil)
and bought some clear leader and pens. Is it possible to do the sound
track directly on the clear leader? Any ideas or tips would be
appreciated. I anyone knows of literature dealing with direct
animation on film, I would appreciate hearing about it.
Thanks.
