I'm looking for films, preferably available on video, which could
constitute a genealogy of industrial gothic and/or cyborgs. Aside
from the obvious candidates (Lang's _Metropolis_, _Bladerunner_, or
the Terminator films -- on the cyborg side -- and _Batman_, _Darkman_,
etc. on the Gothic), are there additional films (esp. from the '40's
or '50's) that ought to be considered?

Any responses, esp. with info. on availability, would be most
appreciated.
