I haven't seen the RED DEATH for some time, but I saw something I had
a big laugh about yesterday. I watched a cut-rate werewolf yarn based
on a Stephen King story called SILVER BULLET. Well, the werewolf was
played by the same guy that played Ed? who was married to NAdine? (the
lady with the eye patch) in Twin Peaks. Been a while, so I have forgotten
the character names. Anyway, the werewolf is a minister in real life
and gets hurt in the eye and ends up wearing an eye patch. This is
serious transtextuality! TP is filled with Lynch's allusions to his
own works, especially the lumber town atmosphere of Blue Velvet.
