A character named Harcourt Fenton is a most unlikely coincidence.
 
More likely is that MURDER SHE WROTE plays on nostalgia and long memories.
Their casting regularly resurrects players who had been on long-ago series.
The faces of the leading guest players are typically familiar, even if one
does not always remember the name.
