Subject: DISABILITIES NEWSLETTER
To: Tom Benson <[log in to unmask]>

The fourth issue of the HISTORY AND ANALYSIS OF DISABILITIES
NEWSLETTER is now available from LISTSERV at RYERSON.CA (Bitnet).
Send a GET Command in a mail message (or TELL command) to
[log in to unmask] as follows:

          GET DISHIST NEWS4

For previous issues, ask for DISHIST NEWS1, DISHIST NEWS2, and
DISHIST NEWS3.

Other files, including bibliographies on the histories of various
disability groups will soon be available on the same LISTSERV. To
see a list of current files in this subject area, send the
following message:

          GET HANDICAP FILELIST

Finally, I am in the process of setting up a moderated list on
DISABILITY RESEARCH. If you send me a short biography, I will send
you the initial notice of procedures when the list is ready to go.
Biographies of disability researchers will be placed in files on
the listserv as a source of contacts in the field of disability
research. (Those whose main interest is to discuss disabilities on
a more personal level, or to make social contacts with disabled
people on the networks should subscribe to L-HCAP at NDSUVM1).
Biographies should be in the following format:

NAME:
E-MAIL ADDRESS:
INSTITUTION:
POSTAL MAILING ADDRESS:
TELEPHONE:
FAX NUMBER:
RESEARCH AREAS AND INTERESTS:
BRIEF LIST OF PUBLICATIONS ON DISABILITY:

Thank you.
