The UFVA has been trying to get a handle on how various schools deal with creat
ive projects: films, videos, scripts, etc. during tenure/promotion review. Doe
s anyone know of examples of bias against such creative projects submitted in
lieu of published papers? How are media projects evaluated during tenure/promo
tion review? Where in the administrative/faculty structure is bias located? A
nd so on. And so on. Anything anyone would like to contribute by was of actua
l experiences or ideas would help. You can send your comments to me directly o
r on the SCREEN-L net, as you wish. Thanks.
