The Fourth Annual Virginia Festival of American Film
October 24-27, 1991
Charlottesville, Virginia

Movie Made America
America makes movies. And movies shape America. Join us this fall at
the University of Virgina as filmmakers, scholars, students, stars, and
film lovers of all ages take a closer look at "Movie Made America" --
the special focus of the fourth annual Virginia Festival of American
Film.
Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck, Sissy Spacek, Robert Altman, Nick Nolte,
Ossie Davis, Norman Mailer, Ann-Margaret, Samuel Goldwyn, Jr., and
John Sayles have all come to Charlottesville to celebrate and explore
American film. This year, we hope you will too!

This year, Charlton Heston will be honored for his film career, and
he will be the guest at an opening night gala screening of his great
film, BEN HUR.
