Visiting Instructor in Film and Media Studies
The Media and Film Studies Program at Birmingham-Southern College seeks a visiting instructor in film and media studies for the 2016-2017 academic year, beginning August 2016. The successful applicant will be expected to teach a variety of video production and media studies classes, including introductory courses in media studies and video production, as well as advanced video production courses. The teaching load is three courses in the fall term, one course in the January term, and three courses in the spring term. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D., an M.F.A, or equivalent professional experience in media production. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in producing for film and television.

Birmingham-Southern College (BSC) is a selective residential liberal arts college enrolling approximately 1300 undergraduate students.
