Subject: SPECIAL DIGEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

From the Conference Vice President

It is my great pleasure to announce the the 65th University Film and Video

Association Conference, which will take place at Emerson College in Boston,

Massachusetts from August 3-6, 2011 (The UFVF Trustees Meeting will be
August 1,
and the UFVA Board meeting will be August 2.)

At http://www.UFVA.org/conference <http://www.ufva.org/conference>,
you will find all you need to submit your

work for this year’s Screenings, Papers and Panels, Script Readings, New Media
Exhibitions, and Workshops, as well as information you need to register for the
conference.

Our conference has a special theme this year, The Future of Media Education, a

timely topic of great importance to us all. As you think about
submitting papers
and panels, consider something theme appropriate, as special consideration will
be given to these proposals.

Working with conference host Jean Stawarz and her team to plan this coming

conference, "The Future of Media Education," has been exciting and
enlightening.
This will be a gathering you won’t soon forget.

Conference submissions will close on March 15, 2011.

Simon Tarr

Conference Vice President
