I've seen it attributed to MADE IN U.S.A. (1966).

Subject: [SCREEN-L] Godard quote source

Can someone from the list help identify the source of this famous
quote from Jean-Luc Godard? It's used often by others, but it's source
is never cited.

"The history of cinema is boys photographing girls. The history of
history is boys burning girls at the stake."

Thanks in advance.
