Just to let people know that the Association of Moving Image Archivists'
annual conference is in St. Louis this year from November 4-7. Information
and registration can be found at http://www.amiaconference.com/.
It's important for anyone who has any interest in the preservation and
restoration of moving images. Most of the studio and archive representatives
are there and usually there's about 600+ attendees. I don't know exactly how
many from the academic world come, but there's always a good number.
