Fulbright Scholar Program for US Faculty and Professionals for 2010-2011
is open

The Fulbright Scholar Program offers 16 awards in lecturing, research or
combined lecturing/research in film studies, including three Fulbright
Distinguished Chairs. Even better, faculty and professionals in film
studies also can apply for one of the 144 "All Discipline" awards open
to all fields.

 

What does Fulbright offer in film studies? Here are a few of the awards
for 2010-2011:

 

Middle East and Northern Africa: Award #0223 - Fulbright Distinguished
Chair in the Humanities and Social Sciences in Israel; Award #0460 -
English, Communication and Media Studies in Oman; Award #0430 - Visual
and Performing Arts in Egypt; Award #0438 - Artist-in-Residence in
Israel; Award #0417 - Middle East and North Africa Regional Research
Project

 

Northern and Eastern Europe: Award #0344 - American Studies in Poland;
Award #0366 - Humanities and the Fine Arts in Russia; Award #0399 -
American Studies in Ukraine; Award #0254 - American Studies in Georgia;
Award #0271 - All Disciplines in Hungary.

 

Distinguished Chairs: Award #0039 - Fulbright-University of the Arts
London Distinguished Chair Award and Award #0038 - Fulbright-Leeds
University Distinguished Chair Award in the United Kingdom.

 

The application deadline is August 1, 2009. U.S. citizenship is
