Not a perfect solution, but there are used VHS copies on sale at Amazon.com and elsewhere.

Subject: [SCREEN-L] La Nuit de Varennes

Greetings,

I am wearing two hats right now, and passing on a query from my Romanticism list. Someone on that list is looking for a copy of La Nuit de Varennes. All I could find are Region 2 versions without English subtitles. Does anyone have an idea of where this person could find the film in English (preferably region 1, I assume)?

Thanks.

Lou
