The SW/TX PCA/ ACA invites papers on ANY aspect of James Bond films, books, toy, games, actors, children's fare, theology,  etc.., 

 

2008 marks the centennial of Ian Fleming's birth. A new Bond movie is hitting the theatres Quantum of Solace and a new James Bond novel Devil May Care <http://www.amazon.com/Devil-May-Care-Sebastian-Faulks/dp/0385524285/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1222116632&sr=8-1>  by Sebastian Faulks has also just been released. 

 

Participants are encouraged to discuss any of aspect of the three above topics, but other concepts to consider include 

 

Connery and Never Say Never (history of this film) 

How is the current Casino Royale different from the 1967 spoof 

How does Daniel Craig stand up as a Bond against who have come before?
How does Craig as Bond compare with Bond as Ian Fleming wrote him in the 1953? 

Roger Moore Vs. Sean Connery 

The Post Fleming Novels 

Ian Fleming as Storyteller 

Bond Women/Sexism in Bond Film 

James Bond from a Women's Studies perspective 

The James Bond Comics 

James Bond Jr. 

ANY IDEA or TOPIC will be considered.
