Assistant Professor in the Department of Comparative Literary and Cultural 
Studies at SUNY Stony Brook.

SPECIALIZATION IN CULTURAL STUDIES, QUEER THEORY AND VISUAL CULTURE. 
Demonstrated commitment to contemporary critical theory.   Fluency in 
major Asian or European language.

Preferred Qualifications:  Ph.D. completed by September 1, 2009. 

Responsibilities & Requirements:  Incumbent will teach graduate and 
undergraduate courses, serve on departmental and university committees, 
and write articles and books.

Special Notes:  This is a tenure track position.  Anticipated start date: 
September 1, 2009.  Salary commensurate with experience.

The selected candidate must successfully clear a background investigation.
