Dear colleagues:
I work with the Fulbright Scholar Program, and would like the message
below to be distributed to your listserv subscribers.  Please feel free
to edit as you see fit.  Thank you.
As scholars in the fields of journalism and communications, I want to
share with you several opportunities where your expertise and experience
is needed to lecture and/or conduct research in Asia and Central Asia
through the Fulbright Scholar program in the 2008-09 academic year.
** Lecture at the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia through
Journalism - Media Research and Analysis
** Learn about Japan through a dedicated research award in journalism

lecture for Study of the United States

of popular culture
** Conduct research or lecture and research in Korea (see awards 8152
and 8153 at
** Malaysia's All Disciplines

welcomes specialists inglobal communications to lecture and/or conduct
research. Or, lecture in higher education administration for Study of
the United States

** Lecture and conduct research on information and communication
technology <>
in the Philippines or conduct research on U.S.-Philippine Relations
** For academics in mass communications, the Kyrgyz Republic welcomes
applications for lecturing in journalism at American University -
Central Asia in Bishkek
All of the awards listed above have journalism or communications as
preferred disciplines. Please keep in mind that Fulbright awards are for

The application deadline for grants in the 2008-09 academic year is
August 1, 2007. You are welcome to contact us at any time with questions
you have about the awards or application. If you are not considering
making an application this year but know someone else who would benefit
