Talk to the reference librarian at the U of Minnesota library. There are a number of biographical dictionaries, WHO'S WHO, and other works, not all of them online, that should be of some help.  Also check the FILM LITERATURE INDEX to see if O'Connor is listed for interviews or other articles that might include biographical sketches or other information.

Subject: [SCREEN-L] Searching for info on TV critic John O'Connor



I'm having trouble finding background info on longtime New York Times
television critic John O'Connor (probably due to my lack of experience with
this kind of research, but nevertheless, I'm stumped on how to proceed).
Anybody able to point me in the right direction?
