SFC 2005: genre and technology

The Association for Studies in French Cinema Annual Conference on genre and technology will be held on Wednesday 30 March at the Institut Français. This is the day before the Society for Cinema and Media Studies conference at the Institute of Education, London, so as to allow colleagues interested in French cinema to attend both conferences. A number of colleagues from the US, France, and further afield will be attending SFC. There will be pre-circulated papers on a range of films, genres, people: Assayas, Besson, Bresson, Chomet, Clouzot, Godard, Klapisch, Léaud, Malle, Meerson, Noé, Ozon, Varda, le look, TV and film, music and film, vaudeville.
