I noticed that Louis B. Mayer paid close attention to intertitle
designs, going so far as to get personally involved in the creation of
5 Linotype designs in the 1920s.

I've also noticed ads in some of the early trades (like Wids) for a New
York titling company with the name Mayer.

Would this be Louis? Does anyone know?

Markus
