Just to say that following a splendid week of entries by Richard Allen
of NYU on the Hitchcock Scholars/'MacGuffin' website's News & Comment
page, talking about everything from Hitchcock's Romanticism to some
shortcomings of Bazinian theorists, director Richard Franklin (PSYCHO
II) is this week (and next) following up with some sharp stuff about the
non-art of film 'restoration', especially in the case of Hitchcock's
VERTIGO ...
