LANDMARKS OF EARLY FILM is a good compilation, culled from THE MOVIES
BEGIN.  It includes early Dickinson, Lumiere, Griffith, Winsor McKay,
etc., hand-colored GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY, a Max Linder short, and others.
Volume II is all-Melies.
