Dancing at Lughnasa in the Ireland into Film Series is now published.
The book examines the ways in which international perspectives on Irishness
underwent surprising changes in the 1990s, especially in response to the
huge success
of Riverdance, that in turn shaped the reception of the film.

The author is Joan FitzPatrick Dean is Professor of English
at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
