(Greetings From Planet Telluride)
------------------------

Dear Independent Filmmakers, Screenwriters, and Indie Cinema Aficionados,

Yes - WOW!

That is how I would sum up Telluride IndieFest 2002 (August 30 - September 2)!

Not ONE techincial problem - no one complained about anything - everyone had a
*great* time - we had VERY good attendence - the Saturday Night Reception was
*awesome* (at SUNSET) - and, the PROGRAM was OUTSTANDING!

In festival terms - this is 'SURREAL AND SUPERNATURAL'.

And - it was.

Contacts were made - relationships were established - friendships forged - and, an
EXTENDED FAMILY of Previous Telluride IndieFest Winners - GREW.

It was *great* to OBSERVE this during the Reception - and, all throughout the festival!

As well - MANY of our selected artists are (already)being *inundated* with
inquiries about their WINNING material at Telluride IndieFest 2002!

This is GREAT news!

It brings A LOT *smiles* around the festival office.

--------- CHECK OUT OUR WINNING ARTISTS!

A COMPLETE listing of our Year 2002 Winners is posted on the festival's web site:

http://tellurideindiefest.com

Synopses of their material, biographies of themselves, and full-contact information
for EACH!

--------- KEY WEST INDIEFEST 2003 (April 18 - 21)

If it is THIS GOOD *high* in the mountains - IMAGINE what it will be like BY THE SEA!

Online entry forms are available - which greatly simplify the entire entry process!

--------- SO MUCH, SO LITTLE TO SAY:

An old Jerry Jeff Walker expression - and, it applies to my feelings about Telluride
IndieFest 2002, as well

It was SO-FINE - so WONDERFUL - that I don't even know where to begin.

So - I won't.

---------

Hope to see SOME of you in Key West!

Film and Write On,

Michael Carr
