Let me say at the outset that I am conducting my own research, and that the purpose of this post is merely to solicit suggestions or advice about locating criticism of Ganja and Hess. At present, I have one essay, written by Manthia Diawara, that was published in "Jump Cut" in 1990. I also own James Monaco's "American Film Now", which devotes a few pages to the film. It is also briefly mentioned in the book "Celluloid Mavericks."

Besides these sources, is there anything else in terms of criticism? I have looked on-line and elsewhere, and have come up with nothing, save for the above mentioned sources. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sarah Nichols
