Indiana University, Department of Communication and Culture, invites
applications for the position of visiting assistant professor. We seek an
individual with interests in global media focused on East Asia and in
television and/or new technologies to teach two courses in one semester and
three in the other. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position for
academic year 2002-03. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in
communication or related field for appointment at the rank of visiting
assistant professor (or ABD to be considered for appointment at the rank of
visiting lecturer) and demonstrated teaching skills. Applicants should send
a letter of application, curriculum vitae, evidence of successful teaching
experience, and three letters of recommendation. All materials should be
received by May 6, 2002 to assure consideration. Address to: Robert L. Ivie,
