The AHRB Centre for Asian and African Literatures at UCL and SOAS
(London) would like to announce the following three seminars on film.

18 February
Dr Rachel Dwyer (Deaprtment of South Asia, SOAS)
"Kiss or Tell: Declaring Love in Hindi Films."

25 February
Dr David Anderson (Deaprtment of History, SOAS)
"Mau Mau at the Movies:  Contemporary Representations of an Anti-Colonial War."

4 March
Dr Lim Song Hwee (Department of East Asian Studies, Leeds)
"Celluloid Comrades: Male Homosexuality in 1990s Films from China,
Taiwan, and Hong Kong."

All seminars will take place on Mondays at 5.30 pm in Room 216,
Foster Court, UCL.
