hi folks,

i'm new to cinematic studies--coming to it as a fan and from a sociological
perspective....i'm looking for a readable and contemporary book for
undergraduates dealing with the treatment of the american soldier in
films--preferably up through three kings and american beauty...i have a
couple, such as doherty's--hollywood, american culture and wwii and
virilio's war and cinema...thanks in advance,
