Characters pregnant:
Pregnancy was focused on in ANGIE, the 1994 film with Geena Davis. And much
was made of the pregnancy of the character in MRS. WINTERBOURNE (with Rikki
Lake)(and the way to dress when you're pregnant). If you aren't limiting
yourself to American films, a very interesting treatment of pregnancy -- and
doctors, delivery, etc. -- is in last year's "scandalous" ROMANCE.

Character/actress pregnancy: Currently, Camryn Manheim's pregnancy is being
featured on The Practice as Eleanor Frutt's pregnancy . . . And the Lindsay
character is also pregnant.

Also, pregnancy/delivery was not limited to women in the Alien series.
