There is a scene toward the end of ABOVE THE CLOUDS, the last
full-length film to be (co-)directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, that
shows a man suddenly pulling a woman away from some railroad tracks as
a train goes whizzing by.

It strikes that the scene is likely to be a "quotation" from one of the
director's earlier films. Does anyone know if it is, and which one?
(This particular scene may actually have been directed by Wim Wenders,
who filmed the narrative frame that holds the parts of the movie
together.)
