Greetings,
Please pass along to any colleagues attending SCS who might be interested
in East German film: Beth Moore and Barton Byg of the DEFA Film Library at
UMass Amherst will present a video overview of some of the most important
East German films at the Society for Cinema Studies conference this Friday.
A variety of genres and historical periods are represented.

Time: Friday, 10 March 2000, 8:15 - 10:10 a.m. (screening session C)

Also, look for the booth of ICESTORM International, world video and DVD
