I am not sure what you intend as the parameters of adult choice nor
how you plan to use the films as English texts, but I would add these
possibilities to Don's list of suggestions:

Absence of Malice (choosing between ethics and ambition)
Casablanca (choosing between the personal and the political/univesal good)
Coming Home (choosing between traditional roles and independence from them)
The Deer Hunter (choosing between belief and experience)
Double Indemnity (choosing between right and temptation)
Educating Rita (choosing between the world born into and the world desired)
Four Feathers (choosing between the appearance and the acts of honor)
Gallipoli (choosing to fight for one's country, or not, and why)
The Graduate (choosing to break away from expectations and the status quo)
Maurice (choosing between homosexuality and the demands of society)
Once Were Warriors (choosing between family and individual, inter alia)
Peggy Sue Got Married (reviewing the choice of sex, marriage, children)
Twelve Angry Men (choosing between prejudice and judgment)
