The University of Miami is now accepting applications for Ph.D. in Communication, which offers full funding for students for four years. We offer MFA degrees in Motion Pictures, Documentary, and Interactive Media, with partial assistantships and tuition waivers available.


The School of Communication at the University of Miami will hold a virtual Open House on Wednesday, November 16 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm EST. All interested students are welcome.



The University of Miami School of Communication is now accepting applications for our Ph.D. and M.A. programs for Fall 2023 admission. The priority deadline for the MFA programs is February 1, with a final deadline of July 15, 2023. The final deadline for the Ph.D. in Communication is December 1, 2022.
