ATTENTION FEATURE FILMMAKERS!

I d like to draw your attention to a new program that Independent Feature
Project/West has created to serve the needs of independent filmmakers. It
is called DIRECTOR S CUT, and it is designed to debut new, undistributed,
independent feature films to the industry. The series is a monthly
on-going presentation of festival-quality films. It is sponsored by
Phillip Noyce and Paramount Pictures.

The idea behind the series is simple. Outside of a festival, it is very
difficult to get anyone in the industry to watch a film by an untried
filmmaker. Additionally, filmmakers not only have to travel to the far
corners of the earth to attend a festival, but they may have to wait
months for the festival to open. DIRECTOR S CUT regularly brings quality
independent films directly to the most vital industry executives.

We are currently looking for new films and filmmakers to assist. However,
because of the enormous opportunity we are providing, we must forewarn
that this series is extremely selective, and all decisions in programming
reside completely with the IFP/West staff.

Please send a VHS copy of your feature film along with any available
press/publicity information and a $10 submission fee to:

Attn: Alex Nohe
Independent Feature Project/West
1625 Olympic Blvd.
Santa Monica, CA 90404

Tapes will not be returned.
