Dear Ulf:

Try chapter six of Kristin Thompson's _Breaking the Glass Armor:
Neoformalist Film Analysis_ titled "Closure within a Dream? Point of View
in _Laura_" (Princeton UP, 1988): 162-94. It also appeared
as an article in _Film Reader_. The article tells me that information on
the film's production can be found in Rudy Behlmer, _America's Favorite
Movies: Behind the Scenes_ (NY: Ungar, 1982): 177-99.
