For those who helped at various points in the essay, HEIMLICH MANEUVRES, as
well as interested others, it's been published at the PSYART site (PSYART: A

The essay traces the evolution of the cinematic monster from a figure of
terror, to -- variously -- a figure of fun/protector of children/rescuer of
mankind at large.
