I'm working on a project exploring the history of "The Caine Mutiny"
(Columbia, 1954), involving its production history, its position amongst
early 1950s war films and its relevance to early 1950s culture. Does
anybody have any suggestions for research materials? (I've already reviewed
biographies and autobiographies of Dmytryk, Wouk and Kramer, along with as
much of the popular and trade press of the time as I could find.) Please
forward any suggestions to: [log in to unmask]
